Labor and Delivery part Duece.....
So we got to our room which was HUGE and gorgeous and I started having contractions every 3 minutes and my blood pressure went down to 111/77 the lowest it's been in probably 3 months. Ha. Totally weird, once my body knew she was coming in the next 24 hours I started labor on my own and my b/p went down. God is good!
So my contractions we're sporadic, 3-6 minutes apart then sometimes even 20 minutes apart, they were painful but again nothing I couldn't handle. Then they stopped completely. I was fine w/ that but apparently you need them to have a Baby? Ha. So I had to walk. So Steve took a nap and I had to walk the tiny L/D floor for 45 minutes. Do you know how stupid I felt walking the same path every 3 seconds?? People in their rooms were looking at me like I was crazy cuz I must have walked by them 468 times. The floor was seriously way to small for all that walking! lol. Oh PLUS my big pet peeve, I left work in such a hurry and freaking out that I LEFT my iPod. OMG I was seriously dying. I tried and tired to talk Steve into going to my desk and getting it but he swore if he left Hailey would come shooting out of me. Whateva I needed my music! Ha. It would have made walking MUCH nicer. Anywho sorry I'm done now. So I walked and had some contractions but nothing like you see on TV where the women have to lean on the wall and stuff, nope I was just walking like normal. I even lapped a girl who was walking to recover from a c-section. Ha. So I got back in bed and they checked me and I was STILL at 2cm. This was like 5 hours after they first checked me. I was NOT happy. So they called Dr Reed and he said I could walk and try to labor myself for another 2 hours and if I didn't progress he was putting me on pitocin. I did NOT want anything dripping into my system. I was mad enough about a regular IV and the fact that I had that stupid Strep B crap going in me. The IV honestly was probably worse then any contraction I had. It was in my wrist and it killed! I was pissed. Ha. So I didn't get any stronger contractions and by 5pm I was only dilated to 3cm. So they started pitocin. They started it off at 2 which I don't know what that means except he higher the number the more medicine is going into your IV which means worse/stronger contractions. It sucked. The nurse said I wouldn't feel the effects of the Pit for at least an hour or 2. Ha. 15 minutes later my stomach is burning every 3 minutes and my contractions are off the monitor. It sucked. And every 30 minutes she turned up the pump by increments of 2. By the time Lori's shift was over at 7, and my night (and delivery nurse) Maria came my pit was at like 8. God Bless Maria I cussed at her everytime she turned the Pit up. It was finally at 14 I think when I delivered. The last 3 hours of contractions were horrible. It felt like somebody was building a mountain on my belly, the pressure on my belly was INSANE. I do not know how to describe it, but I'm assuming everybody reading this has had a child before and knows the pain I am talking about. I absolutely refused an epidural, no way no how was somebody sticking needles in my back making me numb. Gross I would die. My only other choice was something w/ a C that would "take the edge off between the contractions" um I was Ms Personality between contractions, talking and laughing and joking but when I HAD a contraction I wanted to die. And it didn't help at all DURING them?? Then no thank you. I think I asked 293018 times if it would help DURING and they said no. Plus one dose of it lasted like an hour, and the first would work well, but after that they stop working as well. So what is the flippin point? I could be here all night!!!
So my parents and brother came and stared at me while I was dying in pain. LOL. Then my BFF Nikki came and she helped a lot. She distracted me and rubbed my back. She helped me get on the birthing ball which was AMAZING, but lil Peanut didn't care for the ball and her heart rate was going WAY down when I was on it, so back in bed on my back it was :( Finally at like 9:30-10pm I started feeling super duper naouchus and like I had to have a major poop. Some other random nurse came in w/ Maria and told me I needed to start pushing. When Maria checked me at 9pm I was 7cm, she checked me again at 10 and I was full 10cm and her head was way down so I was ready to push. They called Dr Reed and he was on his way and told them to have me start pushing and see how I was doing. So they get all their junk set up and my bed torn apart and my feet up in stirrups and tell me to push. I had NO flippin idea what I was doing but it hurt. Like hell. I was using handles to hold onto to help but I was still just pushing in my face. Dr Reed got there with in 10 minutes (praise the Lord I was deathly afraid I would have to "hold" the child in until he came, uh yeah NOT me), and killed me even MORE with his "message" junk he was doing. Holy cow that hurt worse then any contraction on Pit I had been having! That was horrible. So I'm pushing and pushing and pushing, they keep moving my legs, and telling me different things to focus on during my pushing, and how to use the handles properly but nothing. Everytime I would have a good push her lil head would start to come down and then after the contraction would just shoot way back up. It was so frustrating. I felt like I was failing majorly. I couldn't push hard enough to keep her head down and just get it out. I was SO deadly tired. It was horrible. I hadn't eaten since 6:30 am (why oh WHY didn't I have some Pringles before I left work?? Or a rice krispy treat or something???), and it was now 11:30pm, this was also the time that the Heartburn kicked in. Yes my lil friend that had been MIA due to some amazing meds Dr Reed gave me was back in full force. I am guessing because my uterous was pushing so hard up on my stomach it was making me have horrid acid reflux. In between every contraction/push I would vomit acid and burp. Of course Steve thought nothing of it since he has seen me in this state 67865243 times before, but Nikki, Maria and Dr Reed were freaking out. They were making fun of my burps an Dr Reed was really worried about me. I NEEDED my meds! Oddly enough as soon as she came out bam the heartburn was gone and I have not had it since!
After over an hour of pushing and even using a mirror so I could see her head coming down, they starting talking about forceps. OMG I freaked. I have heard such horror stories about those bruising the head, and puncturing through the skull and holy cow I lost it. Dr Reed even opened a pack and HAD the forceps in his hand I just started pushing like the dickens. Steve was counting and Nikki was screaming in my face to bare down and push. I was finally able to see her head actually coming out and I was screaming for the life of me for Dr Reed to get her out. I think I was able to push 2 more times and he finally kinda reached up in me and grab her out.
Without explaining TO much basically my tail bone is 2-3 inches longer then normal people's and it's curved in towards my body, so Hailey's head was basically stuck on my tail bone and that is why it wasn't coming down. Holy moly was my tailbone bruised. It hurt to sit, lay, get up, walk, for about 5 days. It was horrible. But I know I am lucky and have friends that have broken their tailbone in labor so at least mine was only bruised and got better quickly.
Also poor little Peanut had the cord around her neck :( Oddly enough this was something I had been praying about for weeks previously. I was so worried about cord stuff it wasn't even funny. Dr Reed said it wasn't tight and she wasn't in any danger but it was big and bulky around her head, thus making it harder to come out. Basically Dr Reed pulled (and ugh pushed from the other end) her head out, completely turned her lil body around inside of me to get the cord off and pulled the rest of her out because I was so completely exhausted I had nothing left inside of me.
So she was finally born at 12:33am on 4-16. I was technically in labor for 18 hours but I really only say it was 7, which was when they started the pitocin. I could have done the other 11 hours myself just fine I was in barely any pain, but that Pit junk was hell!
So she came out with a horrible bruised cone head, screaming and crying her lungs out. They put her on my chest and honestly I was so tired I had no emotion. I kept asking if she was OK and saying she was gorgeous, Steve was next to me crying and an emotional mess but I was in so much pain I couldn't compute what had just happened. They took Hailey and cleaned her and all the nurses just commented on how gorgeous she was.
Meanwhile Dr Reed got to stitch me up which was fantastic because I wasn't completely numb from the novocaine so I could FEEL them, then them pushing on my belly to shrink the uterus was AMAZING to. Holy cow. I just sat there and cried in pain. All I wanted was to hold and feed my Baby and here I was in even MORE pain then any contraction! Oy it was horrible! So finally they were done with me, Hailey got a 8 on all her tests, they took off 1 point for her skin color (which we learned later she was way jaundice), but other wise she was perfect and tiny! She was only 6lbs 6oz which was TINY compared to what I was thinking she would be, but she was also 2 weeks early!
I sent Nikki home, Steve to get me some food from the cafeteria, and sent a text to some of my girlfriends. Finally I sent Steve home to bed at like 4 am to sleep, we were both so dead. I don't remember that first night at all, except that I LOVED Maria and my Baby was gorgeous and amazing and I never wanted to put her down!
Still to come:
My husband breaks his back, and screaming for 3 hours in the middle of the night at the hospital

Labor and Delivery.......
**this will be graphic and loads of TMI so fare warning for all you men or non-mother's out there. I won't hold back details. This is for me to remember especially when I say I want another child I will come and read this and remember! HA**
Let's see I guess I'll start at the weekend before she was born. We went to my parents Saturday night to celebrate Easter. I started having contractions during dinner. They sucked and hurt but honestly I've had worse PMS cramps before. They were over after a couple hours and I didn't have anymore all day Sunday. (which I was upset about because even though I was early I was miserable and READY for this Baby to come out of me) I had some strong ones Monday at work, and when I went to my Dr for my weekly check up he said I was only 2 cm dilated and he was going to make me wait another 2 weeks before he would "kick start" anything for me :( So I went home fat, swollen, and miserable. We put together the changing table that night and I started bleeding. My Dr said I would but it still freaked me out. I barely got any sleep those last couple nights I was so huge and uncomfortable and Bean would get the hiccups almost every night I swear it was so annoying!!! So Tuesday came and went (don't remember anything) and Tuesday night I slept amazing. I got over 9 hours of straight sleep. I didn't wake up once even to pee. I swear God knew I needed my rest. I woke up slightly less swollen then usual, no headache, feeling amazing. I was walking to the bathroom to take a shower and felt something leak out of me. Now I'm not stupid I knew I didn't pee myself. It felt just like normal "discharge" and kinda freaked that maybe my water broke but honestly I wasn't even 38 wks yet and just KNEW this baby would be late not 2 weeks early. So I get in the shower and I feel more "stuff" leaking out of me. Whatever. So I go and make myself a bowl of oatmeal and when I sat down I felt a pretty big gush of whatever fluid was coming out of me. So I run to the bathroom, and come out and tell Steve. Of course his answer was not to go to work and just sit and wait for the Dr office to open and then call them. Well, I felt amazing I wasn't going to go to work all those days I felt so crappy and could barely make it through and then stay home the 1 day I feel great! So I went to work and nothing came out of me for the next hour and a half. When Dr Reed's office opened at 8:30 I called and talked to Katie. She said my water broke and to get my bag and go to the hospital. I FREAKED. You should have seen my manager’s face when I told her I was in labor. lol. It was hilarious she was so freaked out! I was shaking and could barely walk to my car. I had already called Steve and told him to meet me there. Now here is the weird part. He had a meeting at one of the First National Warehouses at 9 so he was still home and able to get my bag and everything all together and meet me at the hospital. Verses coming from work and being totally un-prepared. It seriously was a blessing, God's timing is so awesome!
So I called my Mom and 2 of my best friends and told them what was up and that I would let them know when it was confirmed weither or not it was labor. There was still a big chance I would get sent home. So I get to the hospital (after driving the wrong way for awhile I was so freaked out lol), and was told there are no rooms available and they are all booked. OK seriously?? I was so worried I was going to have to go to a different hospital or something weird. So I sat in a chair in the waiting room area and leaked more fluid. Haha.
So they put me in one of the prep/recovery rooms in the OR for c-sections. So it was like a 8X8 square with only curtains. So private and lovely! But at least I didn't get sent home or to another hospital right?? So finally Steve arrives and they put me on monitors and the Baby was great but I was not having any contractions and my blood pressure was still elevated. They decided to test my fluid and see if I was just having discharge (which the nurse said was most likely that my body was just cleaning out and getting ready for birth. She said this happens in the last 2-3 weeks of pregnancy. NOT what I wanted to hear), or if it was amniotic fluid. So she tested me and we waited the longest 30 minutes of my life. We prayed, and joked, Steve went and got food (which I was NOT happy about since they wouldn't let me eat until we knew what was going on), and I cried thinking that I was gonna have to go back to work! Well, Lori (the head nurse who got assigned to me. Yay! She was amazing and I LOVED her) came in and said it was my water and we got booked! We had to stay in the curtain room for another 3 hours until a delivery room was available. So crazy! The hospital was so over booked they had 5 girls on another floor recovering and nurses had to go between floors. Isn't that crazy???
OK Peanut is awake so I'll finish another day! Hopefully I can do some more tomorrow but it might be another 2 weeks! HA

The post where I whine and complain and moan.......
-I slept about 4-5 hours last night despite being IN bed for 9 hours.
-Waking up with heartburn again despite being on the SAME prescription meds for over 5 weeks now. That WERE working but decided to stop at 1am and make me wake up to take a tums
-I rub my husbands back almost every day/night and try to make it feel better for him only for it to be totally worse today and he has to go get another professional message
-SWOLLEN. I am a walking water balloon I swear. It's horrible. My feet are at least 3 times the size they normally are. And they hurt. The extra fluid is putting so much pressure on my veins/bones they ache. It's really bad. Plus part of the reason I was up half the night was because I was trying to dig a hole through the skin under my big toe on my right foot it was so itchy and would not STOP itching.
-Due to swelling I haven't been able to wear my wedding ring for about 4 weeks now and it's depressing and I miss it and feel naked. Everyday I go to work I feel like I forgot something but it's just my rings
-My face is HUGE and the Mother In Law decides to take a million pictures of me and email them and they literally make me cry I am so HUGE and gross. Seriously I am vain but they are ugly and I can't look at them
-I am now missing my niece's 4th Birthday party tonight because I don't think I can sit in a gym with a bunch of little kids while I am in this much pain. And I REALLY wanted cake :(
-I am ONLY 37 weeks. Supposedly. I don't know when I conceived so I could be like 38 or 39 or even 40. But I still feel like since I haven't gone past my "due date" I have no right to complain.
-In fact I have no right to complain period because I am pregnant and so far have a perfect and healthy Baby growing inside of me when so many amazing women can't do this. Makes me feel guilty.
-This horrible taste in my mouth that I have 24-7 is horrible disgusting and I go through about 7 sticks of gum a day. It's so gross.
-My blood pressure has been "high normal" and I'm pretty sure it's due to my stupid horrible job and the people that I sit with, note how I didn't say that I WORK with because honestly none of them really work hence the stress and high blood pressure..............
OK that is enough I am stretching it looking for things to complain about now. Ha. I have my Dr apt today at 4:30 CST and I am debating wither or not to ask my Dr to strip my membranes. Any thoughts on this?? Honestly you won't offend me. I don't know how I feel. I know I really really want to move along the process and get her here sooner then later, but I am afraid it's to invasive and I should just wait until she is ready and my body is ready?!?!?! Plus I feel like 37 weeks and 4 days is to early. If I was like 39 weeks then yea. But the swelling, blood pressure, contractions, back labor, I'm just miserable plus I am the MOST impatient person on the planet and NEED to meet this little girl TONIGHT!! ha. I still have a feeling she isn't going to make her appearance before next week but we'll see what Dr Reed says. I'm getting excited and anxious and NERVOUS about labor but know that God has blessed me this far and he will be with me the whole time!
This past weekend was VERY productive for me! Although we got GOBS of clothes and blankets and great things at my shower, I knew I still didn't have ENOUGH to get me through the first few months and a friend of a friend was selling all her girls clothes and wanted me to come over and go through stuff and buy whatever I want before she has a garage sale in a couple weeks. So me and the mother in law trekked across town and got about 35 outfits/sleepers for $40! It was awesome, I had really no 3-6 month stuff so that is what I focused on. What if this little girl is huge and whips right through all her 0-3 stuff?? So I got a bunch of super cute and CHEAP stuff. Most of looks like it hasn't been worn at all it's in such great shape, and most of it wasn't for more then $3 an outfit! YAY! Thanks Jennifer!
Then on Saturday afternoon me and Steve rushed off to my most FAVORITE photographer in the world, Lesley to do belly shots! They turned out AWESOME and her camera is MAGIC and didn't make me look as fat as most have lately! I should get the disk of all the pictures in the next couple days and I'll have a picture over load for you! They turned out amazing and I'm sure will look even better after she retouches them and changes all the effects and that fun stuff. I'm excited! :)
Then yesterday morning I didn't my usual Sunday chores, laundry, misc pick up stuff around the house, but then I also made a double batch of sloppy joes, a small pan of enchiladas and a big batch of chicken taco meat and froze it all for Steve. I felt VERY accomplished! Oh we also finally got the base put in my car and I got mainly all my hospital stuff packed and ready to go! Heaven help me if I have to rush off to the hospital and Steve has to get things for me :) Love you Honey!
OK seriously this is so long and BORING! I am just trying to get everything down so I remember all these times, good and bad! I know I will look back and laugh! And remember to be checking facebook for updates and I'll try to write a blog or make Steve write a quick blog when she is here! Not sure how long it will be before a picture gets up since I won't have my photo software on the hospital computer or Andy's laptop but I'll see what I can do :) Loves to all and hope you had a great Easter rejoicing Christ being risen!

Showered w/ Love
So today I am officially FULL TERM! 37 Weeks Baby I made it! There were a LOT of struggles and hard times to get here and honestly I wasn't sure I was strong enough or going to make it but I did and I am actually pretty proud of myself. I'm sorry if that sounds conceited but this has NOT been an easy road. God has thrown a lot of curves at me and so far everything is still fine and Baby Bean is healthy and growing and doing amazing! I seriously can NOT wait to see her! Oh my! I'm going to write another letter to her probably tomorrow or Monday so I'll leave details for that..............
I went to my Dr Monday and my B/P was on the high side but still fairly normal. Dr R seemed a little concerned but gave me warning signs, none of which I have had so I think I'm fine. Seriously it's this stupid pointless job I have I swear! Ha. Less then 3 weeks, less then 3 weeks, that is my new chant over and over to get me through the day! Other then that I haven't gained to much weight somewhere between 20-25 lbs and honestly ya'll with how un-healthy I eat and bad I am I thought I would balloon and gain like over 70 lbs. I am serious. So I am pretty happy with myself, and hope it falls right off especially with the help of Breastfeeding :) My goal is to be as cute or more then freaking Julie in her after birth pic here, LOL Love ya Julie :)
So yeah anyways, then I had my first "check" oy vey. It wasn't that bad but it wasn't pleasant. I hope she comes sooner then later because between the weight check and then the blood pressure check (which I am certin the weight check is what spikes my b/p I can't STAND seeing a number that high. Isn't that vain of me? Just keeping it real people), and then getting "check checked" I can't do this much longer! Haha.
Anyways, he said her head is VERY VERY low and "right there", and I was 1 cm dilated!!!! I was hoping for 2 but I'll take 1. Heck I could probably say I am 2 because my Dr has HUGE man hands and when my BFF was in labor he said she was 3 and not even 2 minutes later he left the room so the nurse checked and said she was at 5. LOL. So who knows! So my body knows what to do and is getting ready! We are in all out panic mode at the house now though! lol. We need to get a car seat base installed (tried last night in Steve's Saturn but it's got a TINY backseat and didn't work in the middle b/c of how far back Steve puts his seat, so we'll put it in mine for sure and then move it to one of the sides in Steve's car this weekend. Such a mess!), the changing table painted and up, and then hang stuff on the wall and she can come! We put up her swing in the living room, I got her bag packed just need her diaper bag I ordered on walmart to come in, and all her clothes/blankets/socks/hats/bibs washed and organized! Yay! So honestly if she comes tomorrow I will freak but we are pretty much ready :) Can't believe she could come anytime now! I still think she will be in there for at least 2 more weeks. We'll see! :) I am going to be cooking all weekend and freezing meals for Hubs, he is super extra picky so I want him to have stuff on hand he can pop in the microwave or oven real quick and heat up. Aren't I the bestest wifey in the world? Haha. Also a lady I work with is having a huge garage sale at the end of the month but she is letting me come over Saturday morning and go through all the her girls baby clothes and stuff and get whatever I want! How awesome! We don't need much but I want a couple more 0-3 and 3-6 outfits. I'm excited!
Then even more exciting is that our most amazing wedding photographer Lesley is gifting us a Maternity/belly session!!! I am so freaking excited! I am totally swollen and HUGE and have stretch marks but hopefully she can photoshop some of it out! I'm pretty excited, I am even making Hubs come with me and join in on the picture taking fun! I'll make sure to post lots when we get them back and tell you how it went. I'm nervous I haven't looked the best in pictures lately, my face is HUGE and swollen and it's depressing. I am trying not to be vain or whatever about it but I look like an elephant that can't open her eyes because of all the fluid. It's bad. Seriously. I am being VERY picky about what pictures I post on this blog because I am so embarrassed. Anyways.........
My shower was amazing! There was about 18 people there and we were sooooo blessed! I think I opened presents honestly for over an hour it was insane! We got so many clothes, blankets, hats, diaper care stuff, it was amazing! Everything was so sweet and cute and I loved it all! Some of my cousins from out of state even sent presents to my Mom's house how sweet! I was over whelmed, it was truely awesome to see how loved we are and how many people are going to love and support and help raise this little girl :)
So honestly that is our life right now! Nothing else to report! We're just waiting and getting ready and trying to spend lots of time together and with our friends before our lives completely change for the better! I am making my brother bring up his laptop to the hospital so I can post a quick blog (I'll try to do a picture but not sure), and probably update my facebook page! Pray for a quick easy delivery and a HEALTHY perfect little girl that gets to come home with us!!!
Now on with the pictures!
This is the cake my sis in law Shelley made. Tell me how talented she is! It's simply adorable and was amazingly delicious! It was chocolate cake with like a fudgy chocolate filling. Oh my yum!
My bestest girlies! The hostesses. My sister Natalie, Me, Meriam, and Meriam's little Sahar. Such gorgeous girls and we always have such a fun amazing time together!

Me and my Meriam "Murmaid" she is so gorgeous! And I look like.........well a cow.
My Momma, me and sis. My Mom would hate me if she knew this was up but she looks WAY better then me so whatever! It's MY blog haha

Me and the yummy cake again.
36 weeks and 4 days. Huge and looking miserable but really excited and happy!

Opening her coming home outfit from her Auntie Megan. I LOVE it so so adorable!

Hailey's first handmade quilt from my Mom of course. Mom has made these for years (even sold them) but this one is extra special to me! I love it and can't wait to put her on the floor for tummy time on it :)

Sorry to discriminate because we got so many adorable, cute, fun things, but this is one of my FAVORITE outfits, from Aunt Natalie. I can not WAIT to dress her up!!!
April 3, 2009
Um yeah
My parents came over last night and we got some more stuff finished up in Bean's room. Curtains got hung, and we sanded the changing table I bought off craigslist (LOVE it), it had a HORRIBLE paint job so that is my project this weekend is to give it a couple of coats of white paint! Woohoo!
My shower is tomorrow and I am soooooooo excited. I will feel SO much better after being able to wash clothes and blankets and get more things organized and ready! I have Monday off to go shop and buy necessities and do fun things like put her car seat base in my car and stuff! I am so weird the things I am excited about............I might even drive the Hubby nuts and get her swing up in the living room so he can stare at it for the next 4 weeks. Hehe.
So other then that nothing else exciting is going on with us. Steve pulled like 3 muscles in his back :( So my poor Baby missed some time this week at work, but did get a deep tissue message which seemed to help! Along with his AMAZING wifey who messages and helps him ice a hundred times a day and night. Haha. Hopefully he will be all better after this weekend! I really rely on him to help me since I can't bend down or do hardly anything for myself anymore, so it's been a trying week and we're trying not to let each other do to much which is interesting because we end up yelling at each other for getting up and not asking for help and then just sitting there laughing about it :)
I have D R A M A at my work. I am just trying to make it through these next 3 1/2-4 weeks. Blah! Any day after next Thursday (37 weeks) she wants to arrive I will be soooooooo happy! I have my first weekly dr apt on Monday and I get checked. Please pray for some movement in that area, I would love to be like 2 cm dilated! Haha. I highly doubt it but any progress is progress and I'll take it! I really don't want to go past my due date if possible!
OK I'm out of here. I'll make sure to update Tuesday or Wednesday next week w/ shower pictures and dr apt results. Love you all and have a blessed weekend! <3

Light at the end of the tunnel.....
38 days
27 working days (minus today and next Monday which I have off. Woohoo!)
920 hours
Not that I am counting or anything. But that is all that is left until the POSSIBLE last minute of getting to meet this little Bean inside me. That is going off of May 7th which is 41 weeks for me. April 30 is her ACTUAL due date, but I know everything is just a guess. Especially since honestly we have no idea when I even conceived or anything. It's all so confusing to me. I'm debating wither or not to ask for another ultra sound in one of my upcoming apts to see what she is measuring at and if April 30th is still accurate. In case you can't tell I am a planner Type A personality and not having an exact day is going to drive me batty. I have a feeling this stubborn lil miss is going to stay in as long as possible and not make an appearance unless forced out. I dunno induction after 40 weeks is just my gut. But who knows she has been head down since about 28 weeks (or longer that was just when it first occured to me to ask my dr what position she was in) and is currently extremely low and pushing my pelvic bones apart, so maybe I will be dilated at next weeks apt! I'm not counting on it though. And don't they always say that Momma knows best?? I like to think so :)
This weekend was especially hard. Like Steve said in his blog, me and this lil girl are fighting for room in my stomach. And she is so winning. Ha. She had the hiccups from about 3:30-4:15 Saturday night so I was awake from 3:30-5:15am it was not good. And again like Steve said we know our lives will change, we won't have quiet anymore, there won't be as much "I" or "WE" time anymore, life will revolve around a little tiny person. But we are so extremely excited and have wanted this our whole lives. I normally get between 8-10 hours of sleep. If I get less it's ugly people. I also realize this will change when Lil Miss is here. I am not looking forward to it, but I know it comes with the territory. I honestly plan on sleeping as much as possible. If she is fed and clean and awake I will still lay down and try to sleep. I'll just put her in a bouncy or swing or whatever. This is why I am praying every day and night for a calm happy Baby. Who loves her Momma and lets her sleep. Ha. Am I crazy ya'll?? I know we'll adjust and figure it out as we go along, I'm honestly not worried about it at all. I am more excited then anything! Every time I think of her grand entrance into the world, holding her on me for the first time, seeing her w/ her Daddy, feeding her, seeing her Daddy's reaction to her being born, these thoughts randomly pop in my head all day everyday and I get the biggest butterflies ever. I am so so so excited to be a Momma! I am nervous and anxious and worried but I know everything will be perfect exactly to God's plan.
So I need help from my bloggy friends!!! What is the 1 thing that you couldn't LIVE without when you had a newborn/baby??? And what is something that you wish you hadn't wasted your $ on or never used that you thought you would????
Any advice help would be appreciated! I am super duper excited my shower is Saturday and then me and Steve took the day off work next Monday to go out and get everything that we will still need and didn't get at the shower. I am so so so extremely excited! :) Help so we know what to get!!! Ya'll rock! I'll try to update at least once more this week if not then I will for sure after the shower and I'll include lots of pics :)

6 weeks.........
First off Pregnancy:
I have less then 7 weeks now! That is God for bid if she decides to be as stubborn as her parents and wait until after her "due date". I asked my Dr on Thursday during my apt how long he would let me go and he said not a day after 41 weeks. Woohoo! So folks that is May 7th. (not that I am counting or keeping track or anything right?) I'm praying and hoping she will make her appearance sooner then that, sometime between 38-39 weeks would be perfect for me! But we'll see. As long as she is healthy and I can push her out fine that is all I care about. Hopefully she won't have her Father's HUGE head :) hehe. I am so so so so so ready for her to come now. Well, physically I should say. I am so tired and huge and in pain. I'm trying SO hard not to complain and be a horrible pain in the you-know-what but I'm pretty sure I am. Haha. It's getting hard to sleep, laying on my side hurts, I shove pillows all around me but then I get to hot, I'm hot so I take covers off, then I am cold and add them back on. All my pants are to tight and don't fit me (I have been wearing Steve's basketball pants the last 3 days and even left the house in them. Oops), and none of my shirts are long enough to cover my belly. Ha. I've also got Edema or whatever the heck it's called. My feet are officially HUGE and water filled. None of my rings fit anymore :( Which is VERY hard for me. I hate being that "single pregnant" lady. Haha am I crazy or what?? I just feel so naked w/out my wedding ring on but I don't want it to be cut off either so I quit wearing it last week. I digress..............
I had a MAJOR scare this past Friday before work. First off I just have to say that I LOVE getting to know this little person inside of me. She is FULL of personality. She is always awake and most active right around meal times. (I almost always eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at the same times everyday) She flops all over the place and it's insane. She HATES being woken up or moved if she is hurting me. Yes she LOVES to shove her feet and legs in my sides and ribs and I will move her to a different position because I usually can't handle the pain. She is totally like her Daddy and it's so funny to see the similarities already. I can tell when she is sleeping she is going to want to be LEFT alone and not touched or messed with. Let the princess sleep! So anyways, all that to say that I worked the 9-6 shift Friday at work verses my usual 8-5 shift. So we got to sleep in another hour and I was behind on my breakfast by an hour. Apparently this threw lil miss off. She is most active when I am at work from 8-9:30 and then naps until lunch time around 11:30. Well, she was NOT moving much that morning at all. Not even after I ate breakfast. I was getting really worried. Dr R told me Thursday (the day before) at my apt that she was head down, WAY down and is already starting to engage and get ready for delivery. (woohoo this was the BEST news to me! But also explains the horrible bone pain I have been having and thought maybe it was some kind of weird contractions. Nope just her shoving her head into my pelvis bones spreading them apart. So lovely. But alas at 34 weeks I still have yet to feel any sort of contraction, real or braxton hicks) So I know her position mostly. I can feel what is her back and her butt and what is a leg. After not being able to feel her for over an hour I started going crazy. I called Steve hysterical crying in a panic. He was willing to come home and take me to the ER for a ultra sound (this was at 8:20 and my Dr office doesn't open until 9 other wise I would have just called them), but I said no I would wait and see if she would just move. I pushed and pushed and PUSHED like a mad woman on her back. I was shifting her from my left side to completely over to my right and nothing back. Not even a lil kick. Nothing. I squished my belly, jumped up and down, ate skittles (they say sugar helps them move?? NO? Maybe I just wanted skittles don't judge me), drank a BUNCH of water, went potty, laid down really still, even put ice pack on my belly (she HATES cold. Steve has the coldest hands in America I swear and if he touches my belly with them she twitches. it's hilarious), EVERYTHING I could think of. I was hysterical. I was crying and praying vastly to God to make her move if she was OK other wise I needed a sign to go to the hospital. Well, I decided to go to work and see if she would move then. Once we got in the car and I turned on the radio "I Am A Friend Of God" by Phillips, Craig and Dean came on and I blared it and started singing to her and tapping my belly telling her to move. As soon as I did that I left a foot move over to my hand that was tapping as if to say "I'm here Momma I'm just sleepy and want to be left alone" oh my I LOST it. I could barely see to drive I was crying so hard! I called Steve back and he was totally relived and probably thought I was totally psycho. As soon as I got to my desk there she was flopping around and flipping all over inside of me. I seriously think she was the most active that day that she has EVER been. Before when she would flop around in me and push on me I would whine and complain and tell her to stop and that she was hurting me. NEVER AGAIN. I swear she can do whatever she wants to me as long as she is OK!
So my question to you is now; if I am this psycho and neurotic BEFORE she is here what am I gonna be like when she does actually get here? Oh my! I don't want to be one of those horrible overbaring Mother's that holds her kids hand the whole time on the playground! But I was seriously worried and I know my Girl and her not moving for that long like that is totally odd! OK ya'll pray for me I think I'm gonna need it ;) Haha
Our house is pretty much at a stand still. Steve has had some scares the last couple weeks at work, 3 co workers from his dept got fired and now his boss who was "taking care" of Steve and his job is leaving. :/ It's all in God's hands and I'm really not THAT worried like I normally would be, but we're trying to make good choices financially and be careful w/ our spending. I would LOVE to hire a friend to paint the living room/kitchen/hallways but we decided it can wait until either this fall or even next spring. Bean's nursery is almost complete just need her changing table and some wall decor and she is good to go! Oh plus all the stuff to fill it! She has some clothes and a couple blankets and that is about it! Our shower is in 2 weeks and I am completely stoked! I'm sure I'll feel MUCH more ready after we get some more clothes and bath stuff and bottles and all that good stuff :) I'm getting so excited!!!!
Me and Steve are trying to spend as much time together just the 2 of us as possible and soak it all up before our lives completely change and we never have time to say hi to each other. :) Haha j/k I know we will always make time and have date nights but we know life won't be the same after she is here! I have lots of fun things planned for us over the next couple weeks, movies to rent, places to eat out, and little things around the house to do together. We're going to start scrapbooking pictures of our house being built in all the different stages so hopefully I can stay with it and actually finish a book!
We attended a class last Tuesday night that was taught by the Nurse Prac. in my Dr office. It was called Baby Camp and was just very basic info, what changes your body goes through during pregnancy, labor, and post partum. It was helpful but not a lot of new info that we haven't read in books/online. It was VERY cute though, there were 4 other couples and the men were so into this and asking questions and everything. It was funny. Steve was asking questions about contractions and pain meds and taking notes. It was sooo sweet, he just melts my heart how involved and excited he is. I'm very lucky! We are also taking a Breastfeeding class tonight at the hospital and I am most excited about this. I have a list of questions to ask and I know I will learn a lot. I am not scared of the pain or anything I just really am fixed on this working for us and my daughter having the best chance at a healthy life. :) I'll let ya'll know how it goes! Hehe. I have already warned Steve of the graphic nature of this class and I'm sure we'll both be surprised by things we see and hear.
With out further ado here are some pictures from the last couple weeks!!!
32 weeks and 3 days pregnant and her crib all put together! YAY!

Pregnancy
So I have been a horrible blogger. I know. I am trying to get better. I will plan to write another blog tomorrow and some more next week so stay tuned and please don't leave me!!! Hehe. Since I mainly use this blog for journaling and keeping track of stuff I have decided to bullet all my side effects from this pregnancy. Now please don't think I am complaining I honestly just need to look back and remember! I know once she is here and she is gorgeous and perfect I am going to have to look back and remember the NOT so fun times of pregnancy and having a Baby so I don't go and have 18 like some people! Haha. 6 weeks to go people! AHHHHHHHHHHH!
- Nausea for 12+ weeks
- Dry heaving
- Food cravings
- Food aversions
- Edema (cankles and sausage fingers)
- Nose bleeds
- Heartburn like M A D
- Skin rash/thing on thighs/arms
- Zits, major major break outs
- Bad taste in my mouth 24/7 especially after eating (one of the worst side effects)
- Constipation (sorry but true)
- Killer back pain
- Insomnia
- Light headed (i.e. seeing spots all the time, almost blacking out)
- Tired all the time
- Moody, emotional, crying all the time over nothing
- Leg Cramps
I have been the biggest Baby ever during this pregnancy. I whine, moan, complain to anybody and everybody wither they will listen or not! I feel horrible (physically) but mainly just because I should be so excited and the happiest person on the earth! Honestly and truly I am. I am soooooo thankful for this Baby. I thank God everyday for giving her to us and for letting me get to know her and grow her inside of me. I still don't know what the out come will be for us but I know I will always be her Mommy and I will love her more then I have loved anything on this earth! (besides her Daddy) I am also trying to remember that it won't last forever and soon I'm sure I will miss her movements inside of me and be sad. Some of the good things that have happened to me while being pregnant
- Long strong finger nails
- Thicker hair (this is HUGE)
- Clear beautiful skin for about 11 weeks
- Haven't gained to much weight so far
- Feeling her inside of me and getting to know her sweet personality
- Falling in love w/ her Daddy a little more everyday
I'll update more tomorrow and try to include some pictures!!!

Special Times
These are things that Bean and I have done together (and w/ other people) even though she hasn't even arrived yet:
- Moved into a beautiful amazing gorgeous brand new house
- Celebrated Birthday's of the following people: Grandma's S & C, Grandpa's S & C, Aunt Natalie,Uncle Andy, Uncle Scott, Aunt Shelley, Daddy, G. Grandpa S, Jordan, Nevaeh, Auntie Meriam and Mommy!
- Coached and watched Auntie Nikki have Cameron (who will be one of Hay's best friends, that is how it works, Mommy's are friends you will be to!)
- Made countless trips to Target and Wal-Mart (Mommy's favorite stores!)
- Got pedicures and pretty toenails w/ Auntie Nikki and Aunt Natalie
- Flew to Denver and back to Omaha to visit our favorite Auntie Megan
- Drove through several scary snow storms and made it home safe and sound. (yay!)
- Celebrated Mommy working at her Bank for 5 years!
- Made countless dinners and special treats for Daddy (and Mommy's favorites too!)
- Went down huge water slides on Mommy's Birthday (although if she had known she was in there at the time we probably wouldn't have done that)
- Celebrated the Birth of Jesus Christ
- Went to lots of movies in the Theater b/c Mommy and Daddy know once Bean comes they won't be able to do this much if at all!
- Went to Lincoln to see Auntie Jessica's amazing play "The Christmas Carol"
- Tried on Dresses for Auntie Nikki's wedding, won't do that again until Bean is here! Dress wouldn't zip and Mommy didn't like that at all :(
- Went shopping at KMart (5) WAY to many times for Mommy's taste (although I think Daddy LOVED it ha)
I'm sure there are many more things I am forgetting but it has been special and I can't wait for all the memories we'll make once the little Jelly Bean is here!!!!

9 weeks
My body has decided to swell and/or retain water. I am NOT very excited about this. My fingers look like sausages with pretty diamond rings on them today :( They were NOT like this yesterday just all the of the sudden. And on Friday night me and sister Natalie went and got pedicures and when I took off my shoes and rolled up my jeans OMG I have CANKLES folks. I almost cried. Seriously. I have always liked my legs/feet. They aren't to big and look good in shorts and I especially love my toes after they are polished and I can wear my cute little sandals. Well, they are not cute fat and puffy and missing ankles! Oh my it was horrible! I am sooooo superficial huh? What if my face blows up?? 9 weeks of this left? Haha. We'll see what my dr says but I am trying to eat so healthy and pump myself full of water but I get so bloated! ha. OK so here are some pictures of me at 29 wks 4 days. I need to take some new ones this week!!
We got her room all painted now we are just hanging chair rail and it will be all done! Her crib and changing table come this Saturday and we are soo excited! It will feel so good to have it all done! Yay! Expect pictures to come.
Well, I will end this here even though I am bored out of my gourd! (something my Momma says. Ha) I looked at my last post and can't believe I wrote that much. Oops! Sorry guys! :) Loves!!!

6 months
6 months ago today I was sitting here at my desk in tears, with a horrid stomach ache trying not to throw up from anticipation and worry. I was going to go to my Dr office at 12:15 and find out what all 5 sticks I tested meant. If you remember I took 5 tests the night before, 2 were positive and 3 were negative. I was scared, excited, worried, confused out of my mind. But mainly I was trusting God and praying w/ my whole heart that his will be done and if he wanted us to have a Baby he would take care of everything and we would be fine. It turns out God wanted us to have a Baby. It was probably one of the most emotional days of my life. We had been trying for 10 months to get pregnant to no avail. And honestly to this day I don't know when or how (besides the obvious) it happened. Was it some of the meds I was taking?? Was it because I wasn't so consumed in temperatures, times, cycles, ect?? Or was it just God's will?? I'm pretty sure it was that we surrendered to God's timing and everything worked out when he wanted it to work. I am so so so grateful for this Baby and for that day and all the hard time we went through. It seriously makes me so much more excited and grateful then I ever could have been.
I have been waiting to write a post because I wanted to post a belly picture, I went to a baby shower the other night and had my picture taken with a "friend" (it's confusing, she is my sister in laws sister, but I just consider her to be a good friend) and one of her friends at the shower. Wendy is having her baby on March 17th and her friend is due June 1st and we took some pictures together and I've been waiting for the MIL to email them. I didn't ask her to but she just usually does and this one time she didn't! Oh well I'll see her tomorrow night and will ask her to then and then I'll just have to write another post and put the picture up. Or maybe I'll take one tonight. Me and my sis are going to get our toes done and go to dinner so I'll take some pictures when I get home :) That is if we don't have another stupid blizzard..........ugh I am so done with winter! Sorry...........
Anywho, I am now 30 weeks and 1 day. Oh my freaking gord I am going to have a Baby! This is seriously starting to freak me out. I'm not worried about being ready for her to come (cuz we're totally not) or even labor and delivery (which I am). I am more worried about how this little Bean is going to impact our lives. Will I be a good Mom? Will I be to strict and mean and yell at spank her all the time?? Or will I think she is so perfect and cute and adorable that she will go to other people's house and in public and yell and scream and break stuff like those kids that we don't really "care" for???? Oh my it's a lot of pressure. Seriously it sounds so bad but I see parents these days, out in public at wally world, target, the mall, even friends with kids that I see first hand and I wonder why they don't discipline?? Seriously? Why does everybody over indulge and spoil thier kids?? They sit in the shopping cart and yell and scream and throw a fit so the parent gives them cookies. HUH?? Shouldn't you calm the child and warn/scare them to calm down, tell them they can't have cookies cuz they threw a fit and next time if they are good and sweet and quiet they can have a treat. Doesn't that just make sense?? Or why if a child is talking back to you would you pick it up and praise them?? Shouldn't you tell them it's wrong to talk that way and that they have to apologize?? I seriously don't get it. I know it will be different then I think it is, I'll have a hard time hurting her and telling her No but I refuse to be her friend and let her get out of control. All those kids screaming and getting their way in Target, what will they be like when they are 17 18 years old? Scary! Anyways must be my hormones but these are things I am pondering and obsessing over right now. LOL.
Plus I am I don't know what would you say, nervous, worried, upset about how me and Steve's lives are going to change. I'll be sleep deprived, in pain, crabby, and he'll be sleep deprived and want to help but not want to over do it w/ his health and it will be hard! Plus the fact that we can't just throw on some shoes and run to Target or the mall or to a movie whenever we want. I'll have to plan outings w/ my girlfriends, trips to the grocery store, around feedings. We might not get much time in front of the tv cuddling and talking b/c she will need to be fed and changed and make sure she isn't screaming her head off. Ugh. So much pressure! Ha. Trust me this is ALL I have ever wanted in life. I have the most perfect life I could ever imagine and this little Bean is just making it even more amazing. But I honestly never thought it would happen. I never thought it would be real and I would be having an actual Baby grow inside of me. So so so crazy.
Which brings me to my OTHER worry. When I first first found out I was pregnant I was a nervous wreck. I would lose the Baby, it wouldn't form/grow properly, I would start to bleed, SOMETHING would go wrong. Then after the first 12/15 weeks I stopped worrying about that and moved on to bigger and better things. I worried they would find something horribly wrong at the 20 wk ultra sound. Some deformity, or chromosomal abnormality or something wrong. The only thing they found was my fluid was a tiny bit low and I needed to drink more water. Seriously?? She is perfect and fine and I am capable of growing a perfect little human?? Now I am on to other things, cord issues, placental abruption, her not fitting in the birth canal, being breech, SOMETHING!!!! Seriously do you have any idea how hard it is to be retarded and be me? I am my Father's child. I read WAY to much info on the web.
I have had almost every minor pregnancy side effect you can encounter. Heartburn-check. Leg cramps-check. Bloating-check. Bloody noses-check check check. Nausea-check. Food aversions-check. Failed my 1st gestational Diabetes test-check. Yes failing that test was HUGE for me. Seeing my Dr's office on my caller ID that day was horrible my heart sank. I couldn't get in for the 3 hour glucose test for 7 days. They weren't happy but what could they do. I totally and completely changed my diet from that moment on. I cut myself down to less then 150 carbs a day. (from probably 2000 a day ha) It was so hard, emotionally, physically, everything. I broke down so hard. It was pathetic. Steve would just hold me and let me go off and scream and cry and tell me it would be OK. Why was my body failing me? I couldn't make a Baby, then when it finally decided to do that I couldn't process my sugar and could in turn hurt or even kill my baby and possibly me?? WHAT?? Oh my it was bad. I am SUCH a drama queen. I ate so well that whole week. Sugar free snacks, sandwiches, LOTS of fruit and veggies, only water to drink, man it was HARD. I LOVE LOVE LOVE me some sugar ya'll. Honestly. And to give it all up?? I was not dealing well w/ this.
So to make a long post even longer b/c I am BORED out of my eyeballs here is the whole long Hospital visit story from last Saturday.
I woke up at 6:30am and hopped in the shower, my lovely most amazing Husband begrudgingly also woke up and got ready to go with me. Am I lucky ladies or what? He promised he would be with me every step of the way that day and he truly was. I woke up starving. I ate a sugar free ice cream bar at 8:30pm Friday night and wasn't allowed to eat anything after midnight. I didn't know if it included drinking but I figured water would be fine right?? What can water do to alter glucose tests?? Well, for some reason in the morning something told me not to have anything at all until we got there and if they said I could have water I would get me a bunch. Good thing I didn't.
We leave and get to the hospital at about 7:50 and I was supposed to be there at 8. I go to the desk at the Diagnostic Center and tell the little cute lady who I am and what not and she tells me she is having computer problems and can't print anything off, including the forms I need to fill out to start the test. Seriously? So we wait, and wait, and wait and wait. We waited until 8:40 to fill out the forms. Great. Finally we get the paper work situated and this weird nurse blood taker lady takes me to small back room (more like a hall way with some chairs and curtains), tells me to sit in the "comfty" chair and rest my arm on the pillow. She wanders around talking to herself and being super weird. Me and Steve are looking at each other trying not to lose it. Honestly. So she won't really tell me what is going to happen or how this test works she just keeps mumbling weird stuff. I ask her if I can drink water and she says no not to. Seriously?? So she finally ends up telling me that basically they take my blood once, see what my sugar levels are since I hadn't eaten in over 12 hours (almost 13 by this point it was like 9:15) and if I drew a super high level with nothing in my system they would not proceed with the test and know that I had the Gestational Diabetes. If I had a good low number I would have to drink that nasty orange stuff (which I will give you my full opinion on it since you asked thankyouverymuch. It's like a 6 oz plastic water bottle filled with mostly w/ water, 10 cups or more of sugar and a packet of orange kool aid. There you have it folks it's not "flat orange juice" like some weird ppl say it is (what does UN flat OJ taste like then?? Weird, OJ has no carbonation in it so I don't know how it can go flat? I am confused on that one)), get my blood tested an hour after I first drink it, then again in an hour and then AGAIN in another hour. Yes folks 4 blood draws. Oh my I felt woozy already. And no food or water or anything until those 3+ hours are done. Yippie. So I got my first blood at like 9:10 or something and they threw it to the lab to be tested and the results would come back in a matter of minutes. Meanwhile while we're waiting for the first draw to come back so know if we need to proceed with the test or not psycho scary blood taker lady gets on the phone talking about her bagel order. EXCUSE ME??? Ya'll do NOT understand how much in love with bagels I am. Seriously. If there is one around I eat it. Give me a gourmet bagel like from Panera or Brugers and I go nuts. Cream cheese?? My BFF. I can eat it plain out of the container seriously ask any member of my family. It's a bad addiction. And of course I have been craving them but I knew w/ my new no sugar/carb diet I was on they didn't quite fall into the healthy category. So anyways I hear her on the phone w/ PANERA talking about her bagel/cream cheese order and didn't know when she could come pick it up. Um excuse me??? I literally think I started drooling. I squeezed Steve's hand and gave him the widest eyed look I could manage. He started laughing so hard and squeezing my hand back. So guess what psycho blood taker lady did?? She called some other poor lab tech guy in that has never done glucose testing, so she could go and pick up her bagel order!!!! OK seriously?? So now I have some poor boy taking my blood and making me drink stuff that he doesn't have any clue about?? This did NOT go over well w/ Steven. He was about to either A) walk out or B) go tell them we wanted somebody who KNEW what they were doing or we were going to refuse anything. I told him to calm down and we'd see what happens and how it goes and then freak out on somebody if we had to. lol. So blood taker Lady (that I didn't care for anywhere and almost killed me taking my 1st blood draw I couldn't imagine if she did 3 more) left to get her dumb panera. Whoopie. So we're still just hanging out and have no idea what is going on. Before lab boy came Blood taker lady was mumbling something about how they were out of the glucose drink but some was coming from somewhere and I didn't completely understand. So once she went on her panera run lab boy came over and told us he was so so so sorry but they were out of the nasty orange drink and they were physically driving some clear across town from some main lab in South Omaha. (we are at the hospital across the st from our house which is just about as North as you can get in Omaha) Oh and did I mention Friday night we got about 8" of snow and the roads were still terrible? Yeah this was gonna take awhile. So we wait. And wait and wait. I guess they ordered it sometime at 7am and it didn't get there until 9:45. So I drink my crap at 9:50 and have to wait an hour to get more blood drawn. Oh yeah! My 1st levels came back very low which was good and I was very relived. Well, to a point who really wants to drink that orange crap and have their blood taken 3 more times?? But whatever I would do it if it meant there was a small possibility of being healthy and "normal". So we go and wander around the hospital for an hour. We found the gift shop, a computer lab so we check our email (and I updated my facebook ha! I'm a geek), a really cool empty office with a kickin fish tank so we hung out there and relaxed and watched the fishies, and then we found the cafeteria and Steve got a Burger for "lunch" at 10:30 am. LOL. I ran some things out to the car and when I got back Blood Taker lady was magically back from panera. Ugh. I was not happy to see her. So she took me back and ohmygord did this one hurt. I'm sure I was severely hydrated by this time, it had been over 14 hours since I had ate or drank anything. (Unless you count the nasty orange kool aid mixture or brushing my teeth at 7:30am) So my blood was not fully flowing. Sorry if this is TMI or if you have a weak stomach but I could actually feel the blood trying to come out my vain. That is how bad it was. I think Steve's hand turned purple from me squeezing it so hard. It was bad. So we wait for another hour. By this point Steve is exhausted and wanted to go home, I WANTED to go home but more then anything I wanted fruit and to drink a gallon of water. I was miserable and not handling it the best way I could. Steve sat in the un-comfty chairs in the waiting room and I joined him and we saw that "Notting Hill" was on tv, one of our most favorite movies ever. So we went and watched it for an hour until it was time for my next blood draw. Oh my I almost didn't make it. Somehow in that time scary blood taker lady left. No idea where she was going but I was praying she was not coming back. She was scary and hurt me. So finally after the longest hour of my life lab boy takes us back and does yet another draw. I asked him what my last draw came back at and he said he would try to check but didn't know if he had access to them. (since this obviously wasn't his normal job or station) So he did the blood draw perfectly I didn't barely feel a thing it was amazing. Of course after my arms starting killing me. Just so you understand here and get the full picture, on Thursday at my Dr apt Kayla took 2 vials for the initial glucose test out of my right arm, then the following Saturday (not 2 days but 9 days later) I had her take from the left arm, then from the right again, and then lab boy did the left AGAIN and I still had one to go. Yes I was in pain and it was ugly.
So after the last draw we were the only ppl left in the center so we decided to run home (we live about 4 minutes from the hospital) to rest and Steve needed some food and then we would run back for the last draw. Blah. I was SO SICK and TIRED and HUNGRY. It was bad. I started getting nauseous from going almost 16 hours with no food or water or anything. I changed my pants from jeans into gauchos and laid in bed. It was bad. I had some close calls but managed not to get sick. We went back and lab boy said he couldn't pull up the draws but he would call and see what he could do and if we could find out. I did not want to wait all weekend until my Apt Monday to find out the results. I wanted to know if I should be extra super careful or if I could have me some S U G A R. Haha. I am so bad! So we get the last one done, yes a 3rd poke in about a week in my poor right arm :( It was bad. But lab boy did a great job and again it didn't hurt until about 30 minutes later. By now it's past 1 o'clock. Almost 17 hours with no food or drink. And we could NOT find out the results. Because of privacy acts the lab could only reveal results to my Dr office not to me :( Oh my I was pissed and threw a fit. Seriously I did. Felt like I went through all that for nothing. It was bad. I needed to know and I needed to know RIGHT NOW. So I made Steven stop at Bueno and get me a taco and a tostada. LOL. I went home and scarfed it like no other, drank about 2 bottles of water and went to bed bloated like an elephant. I slept for 3 hours and woke up feeling much better and still hungry. I ate a couple snacks and laid around for awhile. I then got up the energy to go to walmart since we were completely out of food and drug my sorry weak butt around the store. I got home and ate some here and there stuff and laid on the couch the rest of the night. Oh did I mention that this was Valentine's Day?? Do I have the greatest hubby ever or what? He spent the entire morning/afternoon w/ me at the hospital, and then made a HUGE "bed" of blankets and pillows on the floor and laid and cuddled me. Plus he gave me the best sweetest card I have ever received in my life. Oh my I love that man! So all in all it wasn't the best Valentine's day ever. Ha. But we have each other and our little Bean and we're happy :) All I said was I wanted to be together and that is what I got!
So I managed to make it through the rest of the weekend on minimal sugar on my diet, and on Monday morning decided I would call the Dr office and just have them read me the results over the phone. My Apt wasn't until 4:15 and I had already waited 2 days I didn't want to have to wait all day Monday to! So I called at like 9:15 and Dr Reed wasn't in yet and he was the only one that could read the results so I should call back after like 11. :( Seriously? So I wait and call back at like 11:10 and got put on hold forever and a day and got to busy at work and had to hung up and call back :( So I called back at like 11:30 and they were so insanely busy I talked to Kayla, my nurse and she said Dr Reed hadn't read them yet! :O WHAT? So I just told her I could just wait until my apt at 4 and talk to Dr Reed then :( I was seriously bummed but managed not to completely lose it at work. So I finally got to leave for my apt at about 3:50 and got there and waited and waited and waited. Finally Dr Reed got so tired of waiting for me to come back there he called me back himself. LOL to funny! So I go back and Kayla is all confused and told me to go give my "sample" and she'd be right with me. So Dr Reed goes "oh did you hear about your test Rebecca?? You passed" and my face went white I'm sure and Kayla goes "no she failed" and I almost lost it ya'll. He was like "NO NO she failed the first one but passed the 3 hour" Hallelujah! I actually physically laid my head on Dr Reeds arm and breathed a sigh of relief. I told him I was at the hospital for over 5 hours and it was horrible and they were laughing at me. I told him about bagel lady and they were dying. He was like man I bet you wanted a bagel sooooo bad! LOL. It was great. So after that I was floating and felt so much better! I actually feel like this Baby will be OK and healthy and will get to come home w/ us in a normal time and no ICU or anything :) We also made a final decision about which hospital to labor at. The one we had the "3" hour test at is 2 minutes from our house we really weren't that impressed. Like I said to Steve I'm sure it's b/c it was a Saturday but his answer was well what if I go into labor on a SUNDAY?!? True! The other choice is a brand new Hospital that has only been open about 5-6 years, and I've heard it's like giving birth at the Hilton. Jacuzzi tubs in every L/D room, pedicures, manicures, and messages after you give birth, a level II Nicu (the other hospital by our house does not have one at all and if a problem arose she would have to go across town to a different hospital), and just an amazing facility. Oh and did I mention my Dr lives 5 minutes away from there?? So it might take us 20 minutes to get there but him only 5, and since I know he will on call for my delivery and I would like him to get there as quickly as possible and not drive clear across town to get to me :) I secretly wanted to deliver there since the day I found out I was pregnant (and even before honestly) b/c it's so new and pretty and nice but there was nothing wrong w/ the hospital closer to us. Well, after dealing w/ the lady that took 2 hours to get her computer turned on, then panera lady who left somebody in charge that didn't know what they were doing, we're done w/ that place. Scary! We will obviously go there if it's an emergency and we have to but for now we'll plan on the Hilton! Woohoo!
OK I could go on and on and on. I already have. I think this is about 1/2 a Harry Potter Book now so I'll stop. HA! But I was REALLY bored and wanted to pass the time at work and it worked! Plus I love going back and reading old posts and remembering these times and things I went through! YAY!
Also have to give a shout out to some of my favorite blogs:
Alison is about to give birth any day to her little "B"! YAY! Can't wait to see him :)
Also Mel can have her lil girl at any time and is feeling the lovely side effects of pregnancy as well. Pray for safe healthy perfect lil Babies!!!

Dr Updates
Not sure if I posted it before but b/c of my blood type I am RH negative. Not sure exactly what that means but I guess depending on Steve's blood type (which I'm still trying to figure out why they don't just test his blood type but whatever), I could reject the Baby's blood and we could counter act basically is how I understand it. Somebody tell me if I am wrong here.........anyway so I had to get a big shot in my butt. Yippie. Ha. It didn't hurt and still doesn't so I think I'm good to go :)
I also had to drink that stupid sugar water glucose stuff for my gestational diabetes test. I was REAL worried about this test but everybody re-assured me that they ate tons of sugar and junk food through their pregnancy and have been fine. I have been trying to get better, I have been eating organic fruit strip things instead of fruit snacks or skittles, lots of fresh fruit, veggies (carrots, mushrooms, cucumbers), and making my own lunch and dinner not eating out and stuff. But I still cave. Right now we're on ice cream sandwiches and mini chocolate doughnuts. Ugh they are so amazing and delicious. Anyway, the nurse said they would find out the results this morning and call me if I failed but if they don't call me I am good to go!
My Dr checked me and told me how "cute" I was, it was hysterical. He told me he sees and has seen millions of pregnant women, there are 2 kinds. Gross fat ones, and the cute ones and I am defiantly in the cute category. LOL I love him! He made me feel good :) So I asked him about my water in take and how much he wants me to have. I'm sure I wrote it in my 20 wk apt blog, but my fluid was on the low side :( I was very upset. The u/s tech just told me to drink loads of water and maybe have some juice or gatorade before I go to bed. So I seriously like tripled my water in take. I drink anywhere from 64 oz to 80 oz of water. I fill my water bottle like 4 times a day and visit the restroom at least once an hour at work! Ha. I'm sure my coworkers love me but they don't say anything! So I told him sometimes I feel really bloated from that much water and was wondering if I still have to drink that much. So of COURSE he tells Casey (u/s tech) to get the machine ready and to re check my levels. YAY! So I got to see my lil Princess again yesterday! We double checked to see if she was a girl and she DEF still is. Yay! We saw and heard her heart and it was perfect :) And my fluid went from a 7 (whatever that means I have NO idea what kind of "chart" they use or whatever) to a 14 in 8 weeks! YAY! I doubled my fluid! So they said to keep drinking how much I have and just deal w/ being bloated. Yay. Ha. It's OK I will as long as my Baby is good and safe. So I was on cloud 9 yesterday. It sounds bad but seriously I was so proud of myself. Plus seeing her and seeing how pretty she is and how perfect everything was just set me at such an ease. I know God knew I needed a chill pill and decided to let me see her and see for myself to trust him more.
So then I get the dreaded call this morning.......yes my levels were to high on the gest. Diabetes test and I failed the test. :( Now stupid me didn't both to ask HOW high they were. I'm hoping they were low and I just barely failed. I have to go next Saturday for a 3 hour test. I am NOT happy. It is NOT good. Seriously if I have to give up ALL my sugar? Oh my. This Girl has not 1 but like 20 sweet tooths (I know not proper grammar but you get me right?). Ugh. So I had a meltdown and bawled my eyes out and am having a huge pity party. It's not the giving up the sugar that is a big deal, honestly. I would eat ONLY saltines every single day if I had to. I just want my Baby to be OK. I don't want a c-section, I don't want a HUGE Baby, I don't want her to have diabetes or other health problems b/c of this, I just want to be NORMAL! :( I am struggling and I know I shouldn't worry and freak out until I fail the next test, I just have it in my mind that I am going to so I am set up for the worst. Isn't that horrible? Sorry it's just how I am! So I'll keep you guys updated and let you know how the test goes next week! So crazy never thought it would happen to me. Loves!
P.S. Thanks for the prayers for Cameron. After 6 hours in the hospital they told Nikki he does have RSV but at only 4 weeks they can't give him any breathing treatments or even tylenol, and since it was in such an early stage they thought he would be fine so she got to take him home. She said the last 2 days he has been amazingly better and breathing so much easier and a lot less mucus coming out of him! Praise God! He is just to little to be really really sick! So all good news for them yay! :)

Bean.......
It's been a long time since I wrote you last. I didn't mean for it to be this long in between "letters", I want to try to capture and journal every part of this pregnancy and remember it all as I know it will be over before I can blink. And then when you are here my world will totally revolve around you. But for now life is getting away from me to quickly and I have so many things going on!
I am getting huge! This was taken last night, please excuse the HORRIBLE double chin (I was trying to crop my face out as much as possible), and the pajama pants. Ha! Can't believe my Girl is in there growing! So crazy

Update
I am back at work and dying but I'm stubborn and will wait it out! Thanks for your prayers girl I love you and I felt them all around me! Hopefully this Bean sticks it out another 15 weeks and will be fine and healthy! He heartbeat was 151 and she was movin and shakin and is still perfect!
Scared.........
The last couple days I have had EXTREME tightness in my belly. To the point where it hurts to walk or be upright so I've been trying to rest, sit, lay down whatever to relieve the pressure. Hey I've never been pregnant before I don't know what it's supposed to feel like, it worried me but I am a worry wort and I thought maybe it was just my belly growing to accommodate my ever expanding Baby inside. Well, yesterday after eating what was probably to much spicy/crazy food (Qdoba, and then a BBQ ckn sandwich at Applebees), I had amazing heartburn and was so bloated I wanted to explode. I woke up at 10 last night with the worst heartburn you can imagine. I'll spare you the details, but it was B A D. I slept somewhat OK but this morning I have been cramping so horribly bad. I am just sitting at work in tears it's so painful. I am scared beyond anything. I can feel Hailey move and kick so I think she is OK I am just worried this could be pre term labor or something else wrong :( I am drinking lots of water and seeing my Dr in about an hour and a half but I really could use your prayers. I am scared beyond anything and praying like crazy that everything is OK. I will try to update later today or tomorrow and let you know what is going on...........

Crazyness
Honestly it was the best, most relaxing, funnest vacations I have ever taken. Seriously. We did not do a thing. Ha. We did stuff just nothing big, no theme parks, driving hours away, nothing it was perfect! I got there Saturday afternoon, oh wait I must interject here. When I started working at the branch on Maple for First National I met a teller there named Nicole. We knew each other’s name from somewhere but couldn't figure it out. So we started talking about high school, churches, and stuff. Long story short it led us to elementary school and we figured out we were in Kindergarten together! Yes I went to 4 1/2 months of Kindergarten before being pulled out to Home school and it just happened to be that Nicole was in my class and now I am working with her at the bank! Well, she left the bank and works for Sprint who I have my cell phone through so she is my go-to girl for all my cell phone needs! :) Anywho she was sitting at the airport at MY gate with her friend! So I went up to her and said hi and turns out she was on the same flight to Denver! It was so funny. Small world right? So since we flew Southwest and you don't have assigned seating I ended up sitting w/ her and her friend and catching up. It was fun and made the flight go super fast. Denver is a HUGE airport like seriously huge and very scary if you've never been there before. So it was great to have a friend to go through it w/ and try to find luggage claim and all that :) It worked out great and it was so good to see her! Anyways so once I got through the scary airport and found Meg we went back to her apt and hung out for a little bit. Then we went to her sister's apt and hung out and chatted and then went out to Sweet Tomatoes for dinner. OMG we NEED one in Omaha. Seriously if you live in a different state look them up and see if there is one near you, if so RUN there as quickly as possible! It was amazing. A huge never ending salad, soup, fruit, pasta, frozen yogurt bar. Oh my I was in heaven! I think we each ate like 7 plates of food. Now we didn't eat like full plates just tried nibbles of things but oh my it was heaven! We didn't eat the entire rest of the evening and we had an early dinner! Then we went back to the apt where Meg's roommate Kevin was hanging out w/ their friend CJ who also was staying there for the night from Omaha. Again small world. Well, it's a long story and we were going to go downtown but the boys were NOT co-operating, it was cold and yucky outside, and the boys ended up buying a pay per view boxing match. Oscar De La Hoya or whatever his name is against somebody who beat the living you know what out of him. I had never seen a fight before, to be honest I avoided them but whatever it was actually somewhat entertaining. So we all passed out and went to bed (after a taco bell run for the boys who had a couple to many beers), and woke up Sunday to a gorgeous 65 degree day. Oh the mountains were so beautiful! I don't think I would ever get tired of looking at them they are so gorgeous. But again I didn't take any pictures because my only views of them were from the car while driving on the interstate and with an occasional bridge and cars everywhere, I don't think the pictures would have turned out. :( We went to the greatest outlet mall in the world and of course I walked out w/ nothing but a $7 pair of sunglasses. Which of course I love to death! lol. Not knowing the sex of the baby stunk I wanted to go crazy and buy a bunch of cute things at all the baby stores but I held off. I just knew I would buy a bunch of girl clothes only to find out Wednesday it was a boy or vice versa. lol. I was annoyed! And for some reason I am scared to buy maternity shirts. I know I will have to break down SOON (as my belly is peaking out of the sweater I am currently wearing lol) but I can't do it. So yeah I was boring and saved my $ which is probably a good thing :) Sunday afternoon we laid around and watched one of the greatest movies EVER P.S. I Love You. Oh my it's so amazing. Megan nor Kevin had ever seen it and they loved it. Oh I forgot! We also stopped after the mall at a local pizza shoppe and got some yummy slices of pizza. It was rather late so we waited until about 7 to eat Goulosh made by yours truly. I seriously love to cook and I have missed not having my own kitchen while living w/ the in laws! One MAIN thing I am excited for (in 2 WEEKS!) is having my OWN kitchen and cooking all day and night and spoiling my hubby and giving him an even bigger belly then mine :) So we ate dinner and Megan studied for her finals while I flipped through TV stations and tried to leave her alone :) It probably didn't work well. We went to bed early cuz Meg had to be up to take her final at 7am, I laid around all morning until Megan got home then we laid around some more and watched some tv and just hung out. I finally got off my butt and showered and got ready for the day! We went to a very very posh movie theater in a very ritzy expensive neighborhood, we saw Australia with Nicole Kidman cuz it was like the only movie that was halfway decent playing at the time. (the theater is so small it only had 4 screens) It was a good movie but it was like 3 hours long! It was crazy. I don't recommend seeing it, maybe rent it if you must but be prepared for LOTS of blood and deaths. Some funny parts, but just kind of a weird plot. Anyways, after that we met up w/ her "best Denver friend" Janna, Janna's Mom and Aunt cuz Janna graduated Vet school that day! Yay go Janna! So we ate some yummy bar food and chatted and had fun :) We got home early since Meg had to study for her OTHER final the next morning. I watched my normal Monday night shows and just hung out and tried to be quiet again which again I'm sure it didn't work. Ha. So Tuesday Meg woke up at the crack of dawn again and took her final and I laid around being lazy as usual! We went to lunch at another great local place called Spicy Pickle. Oh my it was heaven! It was a cross between a panera and I don't know some other yummy sandwich/soup/salad place. Ha. It was so delish! Then we took the long way to get to the interstate and started the long drive to the airport I was so sad to be leaving :( But we had a BAD snowstorm in Denver Monday night that produced about 3" of snow and they were calling for bad weather in Omaha so I was deathly afraid my flight would be delayed/canceled due to bad weather. And ya'll I HAD to get back to Omaha to find out about my Baby on Wednesday! Luckily everything was perfect and my flights were right on time. I got into Omaha at about 7:15 and ran into my babies arms so glad to see him. I love that Man! We went home and he had a great surprise/present for me! I know I've said it on here before but it's really comical to me. Right when it's about a week or maybe more before a big event that boy can not WAIT for whatever occasion is coming up; he always has to give presents before. Like I always get a present a week before my actual Birthday. I get presents weeks before Christmas time. It's super funny and his Mom is the same exact way. They just get to excited and can't wait! So there was a bag with a present in it laying on the bed for me to open. To my shock and surprise he had ordered a Video Camera for us! I had been looking at them for months with the baby coming I knew we would want to capture all the big moments on video and I was excited to get one, but he kept making me wait until we got the house and moved to get one and then we would start seriously looking. Well, I guess he found a great deal and couldn't pass it up so he got it for me as an early Christmas present! I was so shocked and surprised that boy is horrible at lying and he knew about it for weeks and still told me we couldn't get one, I love my Hubby! So be prepared for LOTS of videos on here once I figure out how to upload them and everything! lol
So Wednesday morning comes, we slept in and Steve stayed home from work to go w/ me to the Dr apt and then go into work for a meeting after the apt. I was a nervous wreck. I couldn't focus on anything. I was in a bad mood and snapping at my poor innocent Hubby (I apologized later no worries) :( I so mean. But honestly I was so stressed ya'll don't know! So we wait a couple minutes in the lobby and Casey (u/s tech that I LOVE to death), took us to her room. We let the machine start up and get warmed up and had to wait even longer. Oh my I thought I was going to die from anticipation. Now I must stop here and interject, I did not care what-so-ever about the sex of the Baby. A boy, a girl, 1 baby, 4 babies whatever as long as it was healthy. All my nervousness and anticipation was over the health and only the fact that our Baby be perfect! I was so worried about Trisomy 13, 18, skeletal dyspepsia, something fatal and wrong with our Baby. Honestly I am SUCH a worry wart. I know way too much about all the different diseases Babies in utero can have and although NONE of our family has any history of any birth defects or anything I was so scared to hear "incompatible with life". So anyways, Casey comes in and is going to start, we tell her we do want to find out the sex but not until the very end once we find out everything was healthy and fine. We told her if she needed to move the screen we were fine w/ it (which she did have to do like 6 or 7 times). She scanned, measured, and looked for over 35 minutes. She was telling us stories about her own pregnancies (they had like 30 boys on her Dad's side of the family and she already had a boy and swore her 2nd baby was a boy and it was a girl!), other people, and some clients. She was so funny it was awesome she puts me at ease like nobody else can. So finally once she is done measuring everything and printing like a million pictures for us of the spine, profile, foot, I was in Mommy heaven with all the pictures! She goes through and shows us everything and telling us everything is measuring perfect. Oh my I was so so so so relived I can't tell you. I think Steve's poor fingers were purple from me squeezing him so hard. lol. Then we got to see a 4d of the Baby's face! The little arm was over the face, but we could make out a button nose, chin, and mouth it was so cute. Bean kept coving their face w/ their arms and hiding. I was so mad! It better get used to pictures and Momma shoving a camera in their face every 2 seconds. Ha. So after showing us the ribs and how perfectly shaped the spinal cord is, she showed us the Babies hands. Most of you know that if a Baby has Tri 13 or 18 their hands are clenched and it's a very very bad sign. Well, our babies’ hands were in front of their mouth sucking the thumb and waving to us. The most beautiful sight I have ever seen! This was one of my biggest worries was seeing a fist. It was beautiful, that was when I lost it. Not finding out what it was but that it was perfect and OK! Now for boring stats :) The Baby weighed 11 oz and that put it in the 28th percentile. Honestly I could care less about those charts and will never pay attention to them the whole time my child is growing up. I think they are dumb and a lot of kids now are over weight and un-healthy so why do I want to compare and have my child be "normal" or even on the big side! Oh sorry I am done ranting. So yeah Casey said that was perfect size and if the baby stays right on that curve of growing it will be in the low 7 lbs mark. Perfect for me I don't need to be pushing out a 10 lb kid! HA. But of course who knows what could change and the baby could start rapidly gaining weight in the next couple months. As long as it's healthy and they can get it out of me that is all I care about! I was measuring about 3 days ahead which is good and that means I could go a couple days early before my expected due date of April 30th. Again fine with me an early small Baby would be awesome! So after all this boring stuff is done she starts scanning again and looking for the Babies butt/lower area. She said she already knew what it was and was excited for us. We kept telling her it was a boy and how excited we were for a little boy but we were arguing over names and it was funny. So she finally finds the bottom half of the baby and lets us look for a minute, I was so sure I saw a little "wang" (sorry for the term) and said out loud "see I knew it was a Boy Steven!" and we squeezed each other's hands, so Casey just kept quiet but on the screen started typing and wrote in BIG letters T H I N K P I N K!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG I almost screamed! A little girl!!! Oh wow I am crying sitting here at my desk re-living it. It was so amazing and perfect and wonderful. We both started crying and were so happy. She showed us all her parts and why she thought it was a girl and we got to look at her some more and see her face and sucking her thumb. She is a VERY active Baby and was all over the screen! It was amazing. So we got like 12 pictures printed off including 2 of the 4D pictures which I will put on here at the end! She is sooooooo beautiful I am sooooooo in love w/ this Baby Girl. She is perfect and growing and I can feel her moving all the time! I just love it. She is going to be spoiled rotten! We left the office and went down to the front lobby to call our Mom's and tell them the wonderful news! Steve had to rush off for a meeting :( So I made him call his Mom at school first. As soon as she answered he told her everything is perfect and the Baby is healthy and fine and that Hailey Elaine will be here at the end of April. His Mom, God love her tends to be a loud talker and I can ALWAYS hear her on the other end of the phone and of course I was squished up to Steve's head so I could hear her reaction. lol. So she just goes "oh that's great!!!" then paused and "screamed IT'S A GIRL?!?!?!!" it was hilarious exactly the reaction I wanted! She was so positive it was a boy she had been out buying boy outfits and blue things and has since had to return them all! :) I loved it! Then I called my Momma who was about in tears and was so excited. She thought it was a boy to so she was thrilled. It was sweet. I called my sister also who was excited and one of my BFF's Nikki and we screamed together and talked about all the things I'll need and how excited we were. She has a little girl and is pregnant w/ a little boy due in Jan so I love talking to her cuz she will tell me all the practical things I need to get to get ready for the Baby to be here. I sent out a mass text message to all my other best girls and got so many amazing loving responses back. We are so blessed and this girl is going to have so many amazing cute clothes and be so spoiled by all her "Aunties"! I love these girls so much!
I think my most favorite reaction of all was from my Dad. Now you must know I think my Daddy is one of the greatest Men ever (besides God, my Hubby and my bro) and I love him to death. You could say I am a Daddy's girl and I would do anything for him. So he called me at about 6 that evening and told me he was secretly hoping it was a little girl all along and was so excited. He said the name Hailey is perfect and beautiful and he loves it. It was so great I was almost bawling. I know this lil girl is going to have Grandpa wrapped around her whole HAND and he will love her and be silly with her and they will have a special relationship. I hope Hailey and her own Daddy also have a special relationship like me and my Dad and are always close.
So later that morning I went to my regular apt w/ Dr R and he didn't do much, measured me (but didn't tell me anything about it. Wonder if I am to fat..........), and we talked for a couple minutes, I had some concerns about some of the glues and paints they use in new houses and if everything would be fine. He told me nothing will harm me or the Baby and that I can even paint her nursery! Yay! I don't think my Hubby will agree to that and that is fine with me! He can do all the painting ;) Love you Honey! Ha. So without further ado I introduce to you Hailey Elaine Sessions who should be here in less then 5 months! I want to meet her so badly!!!
Her footw/ 5 little toes, probably kickin her Momma!
Her most gorgeous profile! Face pointed up
4D picture. OK I realize for those of you who don't have kids or are not experts at seeing ultra sound pictures it looks really weird. I'll try to explain. Off to the far left is her plecenta (here by refured to as her "pillow" because she kept resting against it and Casey said she was sleeping against it like a pillow. Ha), then her head which she is digging her chin into her chest. You can see her nose right in the middle and her eyes above her cute lil nose. Her eyes are still sealed shut which is why she looks blind or something. Then her arm is drapped over her forehead cuz she was being shy and didn't want us to see her!
20wks 2days. Taken last Saturday I am 21 weeks today! Excuse the mess and the horrible face just focus on my cute lil Baby Girl Belly. Ha. Still wearing all my "normal" clothes to! YAY!
